Scam alert and who at PayPal do we contact so it doesn’t happen to someone?

SCAM WARNING ⚠️ Selling a classic mustang convertible and someone offered the purchase price plus additional fees supposedly required by PayPal. It would be my responsibility to send the $1,200 fee via Moneygram before the funds could be released to my PayPal account! I almost fell for it since I’ve never received funds from PayPal but realize it’s a way of doing business for some people. The site looked very professional but is probably pasted on in some middle eastern country. Don’t fall for this and how do we get PayPal to threaten these countries from which the servers are being used?

Not only that, PayPal does not ask you to use another payment processor because they themselves is a payment processor. That there is the dead giveaway and makes no sense at all!

PayPal puts holds on funds but it always shows up in your account when a payment is sent, and stored in your pending balance until you delivery goods/services and enter tracking number or update order status and buyer confirms receipt.

You're just being tricked into sending this money and the buyer has no intent to pick up or deliver car but will pick up money from moneygram and disappear if you sent it, that part is the scam. This person probably don't even have a PayPal account, just sending you some o' fake PayPal email saying they paid so PayPal can't really do nothing since no payment on PayPal servers took place. Websites can disappear and they can pop up again. These scams are like spam, hard to eradicate them entirely.

Just read and know about the spoofs and scams:
