SMS Scam possibly

I received this message by SMS to my Australian number this morning: (I am currently in Kenya, using my Kenya number for PayPal), which I believe is a scam.

ALERT: You have sent a payment of $1500.00AUD For Card@PayPal on 2021/06/12. If its not done by you, Call o[Removed. Phone #s not permitted]5-4 For Refund Thank You!!

I have not called the number.

Checked my account, no transaction has been carried out.

Has anyone else seen/heard or received similar?

Don't call the number, it would be fake paypal customer services.
