Never used paypal before so apologies if this seems like a wildly stupid question,

I was selling something online and received a mail from buyer with 

'I  made an additional payment of £350.00 GBP for the shipping agent pick up fee and i am sure you noticed that, according to PayPal's policy you'll have to send the extra amount to the shipping company headquarters through Bitcoin and then send the bitcoin receipt to PayPal for verification, so that the total amount of £1,350.00 GBP can be released into your PayPal account and the transaction can be finalized'. 350 is far above what any Delievery fee would be. 

seems like a scam, and if is what should I now do?

Scam, delete email and ignore them.
