Refung using guest account

I bought something on ebay using my credit card some time ago and am trying to get a refund which I cant get from ebay. I was told that I would be able to get a refund on PayPal using a guest account. How do I access the guest account and what do I do once I'm in the guest account to get the refund?

If eBay sent a refund to a guest PayPal account, you should have received an email at the email address used for the purchase to claim the money. Use that email address to sign up for a PayPal account or add and confirm that email address to your existing PayPal account.

Otherwise, look for PayPal email receipt for the purchase which contains the Receipt ID number on it, then contact PayPal customer service and give the receipt ID number to open a dispute:

1. Log on.
2. Click HELP at the top menu.
3. Scroll down and click CONTACT US.
4. Scroll down to click MESSAGE US or other contact options such as Live Chat.
