I recently sold a phone on Swappa, the buyer paid my asking price and I received my funds of $550 and some change. The amount I received included a deduction of Swappa Fees and sales tax totaling $62.70. UPS lost my package and I’m trying to refund the buyer, however on my PayPal page it wants me to refund them the $550 plus the partner fees of $62.70 totaling around $612 and change. Why is this the case ?
