1. The seller has issued a refund from their bank account which takes time to process.
2. You funded the payment to the seller using bank transfer. What PayPal do here is credit the recipient on your behalf (so there is no delay in despatching your item). Then if you receive a refund in the meantime they are unable to issue this until the original bank transfer completes.
I was refunded by seller as he had wrongly listed an item and it wasn’t what I was looking for. I was refunded on the 15th June and told I had to wait until the 1st July for my refund to clear. Have never, ever waited this long before. Really need the money too for my phone bill as due to pandemic I’m not working or being paid Now until September. So unfair I have to wait 17 days.
