Receiving spam from seller who got my email address from PayPal

I received a useless email directly from seller shopEmco. Not through an eBay or PayPal email channel. Seller says they got my email address from PayPal.

Please don't give buyer emails to sellers. This is a bad business practice.

As your paypal account is identified via an email address then of course the sellers get your email address.

If you don't want them to then don't use paypal.
