Receipt of money

If I send someone some money as a gift, how do I know whether they've seen it and retrieved it?

If its NOT pending in your paypal account but marked payment or sent then they have received it as long as sent to the correct email address.

Be very careful sending 'gifts' as you would have no buyer protection if you were purchasing something.
