Validation Fee

Someone is telling me that I need to pay a validation fee, so they can send me money. Is this a scam?

Yep well known scam, the emails you get are not from paypal they would be from the scammer.

I have had the same thing and I don't use PayPal that often and I was wondering the same, I haven't paid anything but I wanted to check as well?

It doesn't make sense if someone is sending money why you would have to pay money? Can someone please enlighten me?
