I am evaluating different companies to accept payments for a high school booster banquet. We are a 501c3 located in the U.S.
QUESTIONS
Since this isn't a personal account and it isn't a business, what category do I register the account?
If I register as a business, the website says the process fee is 2.9% with a .30 per transaction. Other sites list a processing fee, a transaction fee in addition to the credit card processing fee. Is the 2.9$ Paypal fee the credit card processing fee? Are the only fees the 2.9% fee and the .30 transaction fee?
