Good morning, My daughter placed and order yesterday on a website claiming to be Adidas for a pair for trainers for her Christmas. I have noticed I never received a confirmation email from Adidas and since found the Paypal transaction shows a Chinese company. So presumably these items are fake and I wish to cancel. The company email i haven’t had response and the payment is still pending in my bank but they won’t cancel pending payments? Help am £130 out of pocket now
Any cancellation is between you and the merchant if the payment is showing as completed next to the transaction in your paypal account.
Paypal covers you for non receipt of item OR item received but not as described so you need to play a bit of a waiting game to see what happens so you can file the appropriate dispute.
