Hi all. Today I used my Paypal to pay for quite an expensive present. It all went through normally, both my bank account and PayPal have deducted money but Paypal texted me asking if I was the one who made the payment which it needs a reply to but I cannot seem to be able to respond to it so I was wondering if it was an official message or not.

That's a great question! We do send out verification text messages to confirm a transaction is authorized. The option to respond to the text message is only available for an hour after the text is received. If you're unable to respond with in that time and the transaction wasn't authorized, we recommend logging in to report it to us. If it is authorized, there isn't anything additional you'd need to do.
