Potential fraud email

Hi All

I just got an email to a non linked paypal email account saying that my credit card or debit card issuer advised paypal that the card was used without permission. Paypal received an unauthorized activity with the card linked to my account. To help me keep and paypal community secure, they need to better understand the activity, so paypal has limited the features on my account.

They ask to dispute the transaction and ask not to reply to the email.

Has anyone seen this before? The email is from <removed>

Hello JhMdA,

Welcome to the PayPal community and thank you for your post.

Any time you receive an email about activity on your PayPal account, the safest way to confirm the emails’ validity is to log in to your PayPal account via the PayPal website (not using the links in the email received). Any of the activity reported in the email will be available to view.
