Possible scam

Got an email from <removed> stating that I have received a payment. This is my first time using PayPal but this does not seem right. There is no indication of a pending payment on my account.

Hi @JoshuaDV,

 

Thanks for reaching out, welcome to PayPal! As long as your email address is confirmed, you should at least see the payment in your Activity - even if its on some kind of hold. Here are some Help Center articles I think might lend a hand in this situation:
