Possible Scam?

I have received a text message from a mobile number in Australia (I have the number) purporting to be from Paypal asking me to connect to a website to fix a security problem - this looks like a scam? Does Paypal send these type of messages

No. That’s sketchy. Log on directly via app or PayPal website to see if anything wrong with the account.
