Paypal resolution closing date?

Hi, Sorry for what may seem a silly question.

I have a claim with a seller at the moment, I have returned the item, but have not yet received a refund.

Paypal will close the case on the 24th.

My question is, do I have to midnight 23rd, or do I have till midnight 24th to either close or escalate my case?

I want to give the seller a chance to pay, but obviously do not want to miss my deadline either.
