Be very carreful of the paypal **Bleep**
You pay a seller 354AUD.
Paypal take 200GBP from your account.
The seller can not provide the item and refund 354AUD.
Paypal give you back 188GBP and keep 12GBP conversion fees for himself.
Paypal is a burglar.
You go to the post office and buy currency to go on holiday with.
You don't spend it all, so you go back to the post office to get the rest converted.
The amount you get is far less because you pay for that currency conversion, so are the post office burglars as well?
You copy and paste the answer of a paypal burglar.
These 12GBP are not a difference of a currency rate exchange.
These 12GBP are paypal fees for conversion.
Your answer has no link with my warning to customers.
Exactly they are paypals fee for converting your money.
No company paypal OR the post office use the direct 'rate for rate' comparison amounts you see on google etc.
They use a RETAIL amount so that they make a profit for providing you with that service of converting your funds for you.
But if you can't grasp that concept best you stick to buying in your own country as some credit card companies charge higher rates.
