How much will paypal charge me for receiving money from someone who has brought something off of me from Facebook. The amount they will be transferring is about £11. I got charged when someone brought an item from me on Gumtree so want to make sure I don't lose out this time. I have seen the chart but found it a bit confusing because it looks like I wont get charged but I did before. Any help would be much appreciated. Thank you. 🙂

UK > UK transactions are 3.4% + 20p per transaction.
You are always charged if you are selling items.
The only time you are not charged is if the sender uses the friends / family payment, however if you ask them to send it that way for selling transaction you not only lose your seller protection BUT risk your account being limited so be careful.
