Is the paypal-fee the same whether I use my paypal-balance or my linked debit card?
I sent money to my friend (£8 ) in the UK via F&F and got the same amount of fee (£1.73) for both options. My paypal-balance already had money in GBP, for card I use the option to convert currency by the card issuer. I'm from Hungary so I know I have to pay the cross border fee.
I've seen THIS older post where the fee was different, I'm wondering if I misunderstood something or it changed since then or it's just the cross border fee that I'm paying, it's not totally clear for me.
