Does anyone have recent experience with creating a new Paypal account in Thailand? The option to create an account now seems unavailable for Thailand. I have tried to create a new Paypal account (personal and business) from the following link - https://www.paypal.com/th/webapps/mpp/home?locale.x=en_TH. No matter what I try to do, the website never allows you to actually navigate to a page to start the actual account creation. You will always get redirected to the home page from the URL above.
Secondly - when I use a different Paypal site (any), and try to create a new account - the mobile phone verification section does not include Thailand as one of the valid countries for a mobile phone.
Can anyone help to explain what is going on with Paypal and Thailand??
