Paypal Refusing to answer my call

I have used paypal for enough years to know that after being disconnected twice while on hold, a long break from the hold music/info without anyone saying anything then back to hold then on hold for more than 30 minutes twice, without any indication of how many minutes I'm into the que that this must be some sort of internal warning if you have called more times than they care to address and I'm systematically being ignored. That's not customer service. If I'm not satisfied with the results then the situation isn't resolved. I've been a loyal (telling everyone I know how great Paypal is and encouraging more than I can count new customers to sign up including small businesses) customer for more than 8 years. Has this happened to anyone else?
