Paypal Fees 3% to 1.2%

Hi, 

We recently started a company and at the moment we are paying 3% on all payments into the account. 

Most are paid by debit card. Is there a way to reduce this amount?

Saw somethin about reducing it to 1.2% +30p? 3% Seems very high. I am new to running a business so any advice is appreciated.
