Payment sent but goods never received due to my own mistake.
Hello everyone, I hope someone can help me out here, whether I've just messed up or I should be entitled to a refund. Apologies in advance if this is in the wrong place. I placed an order with someone for a couple of memory bears made out of my recently departed father's clothes. Payment up front in the assumption I'd send the clothes afterwards. I'd done this the day after he died and with so much stuff to deal with the memory bears had completely slipped my mind, and since then I have donated all his clothes to charity. I've asked for a refund and been refused, but offered a credit note which is of no use to me whatsoever. Is this just my mistake or should I be looking at putting in a dispute with PayPal? Thanks for any help or advice you can offer.
