Payment has not been reflected in my balance

I sold a fortnite account to some guy over discord. he sent the payment as a gift and it has been a month

Then he hasn't paid so don't give him the transaction item.

When it comes to receiving money - PayPal will send you an email notification and there's also a notice in your Account Activity - if someone simply tells you they paid or sends an email directly to you - that's a "red flag".   If there's no communication from PayPal concerning a payment, you didn't get paid.  As a seller, use the invoice feature - you can include details about the item which in turn provides proof of a sale.

It says in my paypal that it was sent it also says it should take up to 14 its been like 30.

Payments are more or less instant on paypal.

The only time you can wait is if you are a new seller and you can wait up to 21 days.

BUT even then the funds SHOW in your paypal account balance but have pending by them.

If your funds are not showing and its not in your paypal activity then you have not been paid.

Have you bought anything and paid for it via paypal since the payments should have gone in??

The reason i ask is that if you have funds in your paypal balance and then buy something then paypal will sometimes take from those funds rather than from your normal funding source eg bank account or card.

To check go and click on the word "details" next to any recent paypal buying transaction and see if they were funded from your paypal balance ie buyers payments rather than your normal funding source.

There is nothing that would of spend all the money from that transaction
