Hi. Feeling stupid but how do I know if payment has been taken from ķ by PayPal or if it's still outstanding. ?

all transactions should appear on your activity. if it's not there, it didn't go through.

It's under the completed page but I don't see it out of my bank account?

When you pay a seller its never instant as Paypal CREDIT the seller for you so there is no delay despatching your item.

Then Paypal take the wait for the funds to transfer from your bank account to Paypal to pay them back again.

Funds can 'leave' your bank account from a few hours up to a few days post -payment.
