A seller wants me to pay with PayPal.me am I protected from scams?

Buyers pay you and not sellers?

If its a 'personal account' paypal.me link then there is the option when you pay to tick the box marked goods / services so that you have buyer protection.

However buyer protection is not a 100% coverall so you need to go and read up on it so you can risk assess your transaction.
