PayPal Fees for Hong Kong

Hi all,

I am in Ireland and have just received a payment for a ebay sale that I made to someone in Hong Kong.

The total was 440 euros incl shipping from this PayPal has deducted a fee of 24.11 (5.48%)which has left me with 415.89.

This seems a bit high to me Can someone please help to explain how they have come to this number?

I have tried various online fee calculators and none seem to come up with this amount. 

Thanks in advance to anyone who can spare their time to help me understand this.
