New paypal user needs help please

 I had my first online sale 2 days ago and payment was made via paypal.

I think the payment is showing in the total amount but activity shows nothing. I needed to see where it had come from so I could then send off the goods.

I waited another day due to the fact I am in New Zealand and we are a day ahead but checked again today and still nothing showing.

have sent the goods off to he buyer as I didnt want to hold up the process. 

What am I doing wrong?

Normally when you sell something, PayPal will send you an email notification and there will also be a notice of the same transaction in your Account Activity section.   Did you get either notice ?

No email from paypal yet

How long does this usually take after a sale?

Pretty much instant.

Was it an ebay sale or private sale?

Was it in your currency or another?

Was it an international sale?

Are you sure it was not a scam?
