One month ago I made a purchase online and used PaylPal checkout. I did not sign into my account when doing so. The website seems to be a scam since I havent received my items or they have not responded my emails. I would like to dispute this transaction. On my Chase statement it shows up as going through paypal. However, when i log into paypal the transaction does not appear. Can i still dispute this transaction?
You can dispute the item. You have up to 180 Days. I had to do this also. Almost identical situation. You have to call and talk to a customer service rep and they will take care of it for you. They were able to look up the transaction via the amount and cc # and I also had the order number. Call https://www.paypal.com/selfhelp/contact/call if calling within the US.) Hope this helps.
