Minor accounts

If I am 14 years old, can I open an account for myself. I do not want to pink a bank account or credit card, I only want it to have the ability for other people to send me money and to spend it through PayPal for companies like Microsoft that allow PayPal as a method of payment. This would be a great convenience. Is this possible or do I need to be 18. I see the legal age says 18, but what if I don’t like a bank account or credit card...?

As per the User Agreement - you must be 18 or older.   (This is a legal policy most states enforce for entering a contract agreement, which is what the User Agreement is all about - it's a contract between you and PayPal.)
