Is this a scam email

Hi, i have received a email advising payment on hold but there is nothing in my account, doesn't  sound right , please can anyone advise

As you haven't given us a gist of the email content very hard to say one way or the other.

Are they telling you to post the item and email tracking before the funds show?

this is the email that i received 

i have sent the tracking and buyer said he has released the funds but not showing in my account.

Well the email looks fine.

However the fact the funds are not SHOWING in your paypal balance is odd.

Are you sure that they are not showing but in the pending section?

 

Have you checked that the email address the email was sent to is the same one that is on your paypal account?

 

Have you verified that email address as per link?

If so then can you ask the BUYER what it says next to the transaction in their paypal account?


1. Pending (with a clearance date)
2. Pending/Unclaimed with a cancel option.
3. Pending/Unclaimed withOUT a cancel option.
4. Payment or Sent.
5. Pending/Uncleared with a clearance date.
6. Pending awaiting authorisation.

I'm off out shopping in a mo but will log in later.

thank you .  The email is correct , paypal not answering and still no funds . Buyer not replying now.
