Not really ...

If you have both a credit card and bank account linked and confirmed - you should be fine as there should be no limits on your account.

YES THIS IS A COMMON SCAM. I so hope you have not gone ahead.

If they are asking you to send money either by western union or moneygram etc or paying them by paypal BEFORE your funds are released then YES its a scam.

Paypal NEVER tell you to do that OR send anything until the funds are in your paypal account.
