I am a long PayPal and and Ebay Buyer. I used my VISA linked to my PayPal account to do all my online buying transactions. It has all been great until now my last two recent purchase has attracted an international transaction fee by my bank. But why??? I have gone in circles and still in circle. Contacting Ebay,PayPal and Commonwealth did not went anywhere but point to each other. First I would have thought that PayPal represents my card when purchasing as of its existence in multiple Countries or currencies instead using my card direct which I know would attract that fee internationally. Secondly, I have been purchasing an item internationally in Ebay, US, Hongkong, China, Europe and did not attract any of the fee until now. Third, I understand that Australia has imposed an import tax for all international item but that is totally different. Has anyone experience this?
