I did not mean to upgrade to a business account, how can i revert back.

I was curious so I clicked upgrade to a business account and now im stuck. I just want a regular paypal account where people can send me money. Can anybody help or am i just stuck? I would just like to revert back to a regular account because i dont have a tax id or anything like that.

There is no automatic way to downgrade a business account to a personal account, you have to contact customer services and they will do that for you.


Click on the words "Help / Contact" at the bottom of paypals pages and use the phone option in the blue band at the top OR very bottom of page dependent on what country you are in. Scroll down past the list of help questions and click on 'Call us' bottom of that page. Log in and get the code.
