Went to make a purchase on E-Bay and paid by PayPal.
Before the payment could complete it asked me top enter a verification code. This code was texted to my phone from a short number <removed>
I had to enter the code, which I did.
The transaction was done on my PC, not on my phone and I clicked on no links etc. I just typed the code as supplied.
The transaction is shwoing as completed on my account.
what is this? and should I be worried right now?
