EASTBAY confirmed a fake order of $106.74 successfully charged to my PayPal account. A call to PayPal found that they had no record of this transaction but I STUPIDLY went forward, assuming that being the same day the confirmation e-mail appeared, it just hadn't been posted at PayPal as yet. At the bottom of the EASTBAY order confirmation page there was a "CANCEL NOW" link that took me to a FAKE PAYPAL page with all the security indicators of a real PayPal page. Besides my name, address, etc. they got my PayPal password and SS#. I can change my password but MY SS# is the problem!!!! WHAT DO I DO NOW????

Either change your SSN or sign up for one of those programs that monitors your credit, anything that is put under your SSN. ie Life Lock

You can report it to ic3.gov

Kudos & Solved are greatly appreciated. 🙂
