I'm so frustrated---I'm trying to reach someone who will actually speak to me in understandable terms---not platitudes. I've been trying for over 9 days to get my account "verified" and unlocked.....I've called the 800#--and it just says to use the "message center" UUUUGGGGGHHHH

Paypal phones are mostly non operational since covid but sometimes you get lucky.
If there is one available it will show when you click help / contact bottom left of Paypal pages for options available in your country.
Live chat is randomly available.
You can send them a message.
Or have you considered contacting Customer Service via Facebook or Twitter?

Yes, I've tried all of the obvious protocols that are listed on the website, of course!
Although, I am not a FB, nor Twit--so that's not an option for me.
Seems odd for a large Co. that handles LOTS of $$$ on a daily basis not to have a solid contact by now....the COVID excuse is getting old, and a Co. this size should be covered by now!

It happens. Hit the "Login to Ask the community" button to create a question for the PayPal community.
- Solution for PayPal asking for bank/ credit card upon payment for example on EBay in Payments Archives
- unable to refund money to the seller in Payments Archives
- Buying from Chronext, paid through PayPal, they now ask for wire Transfert. in Disputes and Limitations Archives
