How long does your pending balance take to clear and how do you check it?

I have received three payments and all say are pending payments and I was wondering how long they would take to clear and if I could check this pending balance

What do you mean by check the balance? Surely you can see it in your Paypal account / balance.

As to clearance that depends if it was an Ebay or non-Ebay sale etc.
