I have had repeated messages which flash across my phone claiming to be from Chrome and saying the my PayPal $1,000 transaction has been successful.

Has anyone else received this as I am assuming it is a scam

Welcome to our Community Forums! I agree, that does sounds suspicious. Here's some information on How to spot fake, fraudulent, spoof, or phishing emails.
