I have someone wanting to do a transaction without eBay protection and they want me to buy gift cards and put into the monitor I’m selling and they want me to email this email <removed> And tell them I’m going to also buy a gift card and put in the box for there cousin for there birthday and the email is so that nothing can go wrong they say but it just seems sketchy what do I do?

Its a scam.

hijacked ebay account.

NO paypal account.

You will get FAKE paypal messages stating you have to send the item first BEFORE you get paid.

OR they will say you have to send the numbers from the gift cards first before you receive payment.

However it works they will NOT use ebay checkout and you will NOT see any funds in your paypal balance.
