Help I think I'm being scammed

I received a spam email and the person only has pay pal.

As long as you do NOT send friends & family I wouldn't worry too much. If you are purchasing something, and they have PayPal, always make sure to send as goods & services and I believe you should be protected. Sometimes our emails send messages from unknown contacts to the spam/junk folder.

If its a spoof then they are randomly sent, we all get them from time to time, anyone can have your email address really as you share it everytime you buy something or message someone.
However if you mean the email was a fake PAYPAL one then no funds in your paypal balance = you have not been paid so do not send any goods.
Advice is voluntary.
