Gumtree Buying Scam Warning (<removed>)

Hello all,

Someone on Gumtree messaged me to purchase something off me via PayPal, which is perfectly normal until I received a confirmation email into my spam/junk mail from <removed> <removed>. I looked up online and someone else has reported this email before. I've forwarded this onto spoof@paypal.com already. I didn't get scammed, but it's good to warn you.

Yep these scams have been ongoing for about 20 years and are all over this forum and the internet, glad you were not caught out.
