Is buyer's protection an international thing? I need to make sure that the person who sold me a defective product doesn't cheat me. She's a bit dodgy in my opinion
Yes but it has its limitations so you need to read up on it and risk assess your transactions.
It also depends on HOW you pay the seller ie which paypal option and other factors all listed in paypals buyer protection policy in the user agreement for your country.
