I wanted to buy a smart watch and saw lots of them on Facebook and could pay with PayPal. The prices range from free to U$300. How do I know the seller is legitimate? Does PayPal have a regularly updated fraudulent sellers on Facebook list that I can access before I decide to buy.
If the seller is fraudulent what are the chances PayPal will refund my money.

Facebook don't vet sellers and you risk getting Chinese tat ( in my personal opinion ).
As for that protection that depends on many factors all listed in Paypals buyer protection policy for you to read and then you can risk assess your own transactions.
Advice is voluntary.
Kudos / Solution appreciated.
