I've just sent a friend £90 and Paypal says there's not fee for monies sent via cc to family or friends in pounds in the uk. Yet I've incurred a fee of £3.26 for some reason, WHY?

Its only free if you fund your paypal payment via your bank account of funds in your paypal account balance.

If you use a credit card then you pay the full fee.
