Fee added to ebay purchase

I just sold transmission on ebay and when buyer paid by paypal I did not get total amount a fee of $11.30 was taken off amount. Why? I am in Ohio and he lives in Florida

Your ebay fee is in your account summary in your 'my ebay' and is invoiced to you on a monthly basis.

Your paypal fee is deducted from the buyers payment immediately and the remainder credited to your paypal balance.

Not sure what them being in the same country has to do with it to be honest, but you would pay a higher fee if it was an international sale.
