Family money transferred in business account - was charged a fee

Hello,

I had a small amount of funds sent to me from family ( I sent them a request) through my business account, but there was a fee charged.

Can that be retracted?  And, how could I request funds from friends and family  via my business account without fee?  My personal account went away when I switched to business.   Thanks.

It wouldn't matter if it was a personal or business account if you ''request'' funds then you are a seller and sellers pay fees.

The only time you do not pay a fee is if the sender of the funds uses the friends/family option.

Difference between g/s and f/f.

A 'money request' is not a friends/family payment its a goods/services payment.
An 'invoice' is not a friends/family payment its a goods/services payment.
'Send money > goods/services' is not a friends/family payment its a goods/services payment.
A 'business account paypal.me' is not a friends/family payment its a goods/services payment.

A 'send money > friends/family payment is a friends/family payment.
A 'paypal.me personal account' is a friends/family payment.
