I have put my I phone on ebay for sale, and i received an over the top offer from a buyer saying he will put money into my paypal account immediately, he gave me a paypal address, which i then proceeded to send the money request.
I then received a email in my junk folder from a very genuine paypal looking email asking me to post item and it will not show the funds in my account until i show proof of shipment.
