FRAUD - I NEED HELP

i received an email yesterday, 8.31.20 advising that I made a donation of $14.80 - when I tracked the transaction, nothing shows and nothing was deducted from my bank account. although its a small amount, its the idea that someone can hack into my information. i just signed back up with Paypal a few months ago - but I may have to remove my details because it was easy for this person to get my banking information:

Transaction ID:1393-3152-2322-5264 // I went to the help chat, they gave me a link to file a complaint but because I don't see the transaction number in my list, I couldn't select it - but something have to have taken off my card for an invoice to be sent to my email.

I need help!

Spoof email.

NEVER USE ANY LINK.

Firstly if the email/text addressed you as ''Dear Member'' / ''Customer'' / ''Client'' OR your ''email address'' then that confirms its a spoof as paypal would address you by your full name eg Dear John Smith.

Secondly if there was a link OR attachment in that email/text to ''cancel'' any transaction or ''confirm'' any details then again it would be a spoof.

If there was a problem with your account Paypal would not ask you to click on an unsafe link in an email or by downloading an attachment, they would direct you to log in normally and go to the resolution or the message centre for more information.
