I received one myself just today, from a so-called fake email address “service. PayPal. Co. Uk”. (Yes, showed spaces there too). Have received other similar ones in the past too. They seem relatively easy to spot, and all say your account is, or will be, terminated unless ... My email said “We have automatically suspended your account ... blah blah blah ...”. and wanted me to verify my account. No way!
No such thing of course.
Never respond to emails that ask you to click on links to see such details, verify account etc. from PayPal, banks etc. None are to be trusted. They will never ask you to verify such details in an email.
Always open a new tab and sign in to PayPal to read any messages from them.
If there are no messages it was most definitely not from them.
If concerned ring PayPal to report the email.
